Technical Information by Appication
KA-800 Series
Nippon Gohsei have recently developed a new PVOH, KA-800, as a dispersing stabilizer for the suspension
polymerization of Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM).
KA-800 has the following properties:
- Properties
- 1. Excellent protective colloid properties ( Excellent adsorption properties )
2. Low foaming ( in PVOH / water solution )
3. High water solubility ( no agglomerations form when a large amount of KA-800 is placed into water at one time. )
4. High and low temperature polymerization of VCM ( versatile for many conditions of polymerization )
5. Narrow PVC particle size distribution, high porosity of particle surface.
6. Very low fish eye count.
