Nippon Gohsei have recently developed a new PVOH, KA-800, as a dispersing stabilizer for the suspension polymerization of Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM).
KA-800 has the following properties:
 |
| 1. |
Excellent protective colloid properties ( Excellent adsorption properties
) |
| 2. |
Low foaming ( in PVOH / water solution ) |
| 3. |
High water solubility ( no agglomerations form when a large amount of KA-800
is placed into water at one time. ) |
| 4. |
High and low temperature polymerization of VCM ( versatile for many
conditions of polymerization ) |
| 5. |
Narrow PVC particle size distribution, high porosity of particle surface. |
| 6. |
Very low fish eye count. |
