Characteristics of GOHSENOL™

Effect of Relative Humidity

GOHSENOL™ is hygroscopic. Its susceptibility to moisture is lower than other water-soluble resins such as Carboxyl Methyl Cellulose (CMC) or Poly Vinyl Pyrrolidone (PVP) and it has a slow growth rate at high humidity. However, the susceptibility to moisture does vary depending upon the atmospheric relative humidity. Therefore, mechanical and physical properties may vary according to the atmospheric humidity.
