Characteristics of GOHSENOL

Chemical Reactivity
GOHSENOL is a stable high molecular weight compound and so usually, alone, will not cause any putrefaction, decomposition, or polymerization. However, it can cause acetal condensation with aldehydes and ketones in the presence of a suitable catalyst. In addition to acetal condensation, cyanoethylation and urethane formation have been known.
